Cyber Attack affects Ward Transport & Logistics; Announces Limited Operations During Impact

Ward Trucking

Summarized Release from Ward Trucking & Logistics:

On the morning of Sunday March 3, 2024, Ward Transport & Logistics experienced a cyber attack to multiple layers of their network. Their technology department is working diligently to solve the solution.

Due to the cyber attack, the LTL carrier will be running limited operations to handle freight already in their system.

Ward is not the first LTL carrier to be the victim of a cyber attack. Last year, ESTES Express Lines was the victim of a cyber attack in October 2023. The attack had lasting impacts, impacting operations as technology is utilized for carrier operations, customer tendering, customer tracking, etc.
