Estes Express announced their IT systems were offline on Monday, October 2. In a social post out to their followers and through account reps, the carrier had confirmed that the IT Infrastructure of the system is down with a second notification confirming the downed system is the result of a Cyber-Attack. While no additional information on the cyber-attack is readily available, Estes has been in contact about course of action.

At this moment, Estes is fully-operational with their team working through the system outages. The carrier's terminals and drivers are completing pickups and deliveries.

TLI is actively communicating with our Account Rep and working closely with Estes as the carrier works towards resuming normal IT operations.

UPDATE OCTOBER 23: Estes Express has confirmed that most systems are available starting this week, including invoicing. Invoicing will begin to be sent in batches over the next couple days with invoicing returning to normal on Thursday, October 26.

Estes Express is a major national carrier in the LTL network. The carrier recently was in news as the front-runner to purchase terminals from the Yellow Corporation during their bankruptcy filing.
