Flatbed trailers typically come in two standard lengths: 48 feet and 53 feet. A 48' flatbed can handle most standard loads, but if you need more space, the 53' flatbed provides additional capacity. Both lengths can handle a wide variety of freight, but it’s essential to confirm the size and weight of your load to ensure it fits securely and safely on the trailer.


In addition to standard flatbeds, TLI can also arrange specialized flatbed equipment, including lowboy trailers, double-drop trailers, Conestoga trailers, and curtain-side trailers. If you need one of these specific types, please let us know before we tender a load, so we can assign the correct equipment. Additionally, keep in mind that flatbed carriers and drivers may need assistance with securing and tarping freight, especially at loading and unloading locations, so be prepared to support them for a smooth and safe shipping process.
